We are living in the era of the smash burger and most of you know at Sloppy Mama’s, we are huge fans of that crispy, lacy-edged sear—so much so that we serve them up every single day. But while the smash burger is currently king, we still think burger-lovers should show some love to the old-school Pub-Style Burger.

While smash burgers focus on maximizing surface area and Maillard-reaction crust, the pub-style burger is all about a heavy, juicy bite and complemented with all kinds of delicious smokey, salty, sweet and savory complementary flavors. In a world of thin, stacked patties, the pub burger stands tall, offering a texture and depth that a smash burger simply can’t replicate.

It's a 6 oz. prime brisket burger smoked and served on a potato bun with, our house-made pig pastrami, cheddar cheese, mustard, smoked garlic aioli, onions and our house-made pickles.

We’ve experimented with several versions of this, but today’s build we’re really excited about. We’ve got the juice dripping down our faces right now.
